Winter Has Arrived at Kasba Lake Fishing Lodge
Winter has arrived at Kasba Lake Lodge and our scenic lake and resort are covered in a beautiful white blanket of snow. The temperature is around -20 to -30 degrees and being so far north we see much shorter days with the sun rising around 9:45 am and setting around 3:30. Yes, that’s only about 6 hours of daylight a day! Kaaba Lake is quiet and still with all the fish resting for the Winter.
Our staff have gone home for the off-season but one remains Scott will have all winter to have some fun in the snow. Here’s Scott having some fun on a ski-doo. Which is more fun Scott, a sea-doo or a ski-doo?
It’s very quiet and serene around the lodge during the Winter. The complete opposite of the Summer when it’s bustling with guests and stories of great catches! Winter is the time when we plan any updates and improvements to the lodge to ensure we continue to provide the best fishing experience for our guests! One of the reasons we are known to be the one of the best fishing lodges out there!
We hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season and wish you all a Merry Christmas. We are looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones during the 2018 fishing season which kicks off on June 24, 2018.
