Kasba Lake is Canada’s 28th largest lake spanning 55 by 25 miles. The lake is 150 miles from the nearest road, is accessible only by air, and is fished exclusively by our guests on Canada’s best fishing trips.”

At Kasba, we have five decades of experience in making sure your fishing vacation goes smoothly. Here’s what you can expect on your world-class fishing trip to Kasba Lake, from your arrival in Winnipeg, through to your departure from the lodge.
Arrival Day
Your Canadian fishing adventure begins.
Our guests depart the Courtyard Marriot in Winnipeg , MB via shuttle van at 5:00 AM to catch the 6:00AM charter flight to Kasba Lake Lodge. Arrival at Kasba Lake is approximately 10:00 AM. Once you have landed at our private airstrip you will proceed to the main lodge. Our airstrip is located directly beside the lodge so there is no long boat or bus rides to start your trip. Once in the lodge, you will receive your fishing license and enjoy a hearty brunch, then it is back to your cabin to organize your fishing gear and get down to the boats. By now you will have met your guides and they are waiting to show you some of the spectacular fishing to be had at Kasba Lake Lodge! You are afforded a full day of fishing on your first day, including a gourmet shore dinner. Tonight you can relax in our lounge and go over a few fish stories. You can also book a fly-out for the up-coming days.
During Your Stay
Wake up to a spectacular Kasba sunrise.
Hot beverages arrive with your wakeup call at 6:45AM. Your spacious private cabin includes comfortable beds, indoor plumbing, and lots of hot water. Breakfast is served beginning at 7:00AM, with your choice of eggs any style, bacon, ham, sausage, hashbrowns, as well as oatmeal and cereal. By 8:00AM your guide is ready to show you another day of Kasba fishing, astounding scenery, and beautiful wildlife. Fresh fish shore lunches are prepared by your guide every day. After your arms are tired, your guide will take you back to the lodge in time for dinner. Dinner is served at 7:30PM, but if you decide to fish late a hot meal will be ready for you when you get in – no matter the time.

Departure Day
Your adventure may come to an end, but the memories last forever.
Breakfast service begins at 7:00AM and your bags should be packed and ready to go by 8:30AM. Our staff will load your bags onto the baggage truck as you leisurely await in the lodge for the airplane to arrive. The charter will depart around 11 AM from Kasba Lake Lodge. A snack will be served on board, and you can relax until you get to Winnipeg. Arrival is at the main International Airport Terminal, so it is an easy connection to your flight home. Your adventure ends when you arrive in Winnipeg, but the memories last forever.
