Fishing at Kazan River Camp Outpost
Kazan River Outpost Fishing Camp
The Kazan River Outpost is located on picturesque Tabane Lake which flows in to the beautiful Canadian Heritage Kazan River. This hidden gem offers some of the most exciting trophy fishing in Canada. The Kazan River outpost offers light tackle fishing in more than twenty miles of pristine river and lake fishing for all three species, from the outflow at Kasba Lake all the way down to Ennadai Lake. Ennadai Lake, the next giant lake on the river, is just thirty minutes downstream from the cabin.
Light tackle fishing is glorious at the Kazan River with plenty of Northern Pike, Arctic Grayling and Lake Trout abundant and accessible, and the entire river is easily navigated by boat. It is a pristine area; this entire stretch of water sees fewer than forty fishermen a year. For those looking for a fantastic light tackle or fly fishing experience, the Kazan River Outpost simply cannot be beat.
Our Kazan River outpost cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The cabin has comfortable beds and propane heat, stove and refrigeration. The cabin has solar-electric lights, running water and full bathroom with flush toilets and solar hot water showers. Three 16' aluminum boats with 20 h.p. Mercury outboards and comfortable seats are provided, and there's a spare motor just in case. For convenience and safety satellite communication keeps you in touch with our main lodge.
